The Enterprise Systems Analyst gathers business requirements, conducts needs assessments, and develops functional specifications, timelines and test plans to ensure that information technology solutions support business objectives.
Acts as a liaison between technical teams and the business on new applications (internal and third-party) and improvements to existing applications.
Ensures that business objectives are met and implementations meet the desired goals.
Prioritizes, sets scope, schedules, defines requirements, and prepares written specifications for new applications and improvements to existing applications.
Provides data-driven analysis to quantify business requests for decision-makers.
Provides technical expertise, research, and recommendations in assessing new software projects and initiatives to support and enhance existing applications.
Identifies opportunities to improve efficiency of applications.
Prepares detailed flow charts and diagrams outlining system flow and relationships.
Prepares detailed test plans for development teams and testers to test that implementations are successful.
Performs final integration tests, documenting problems and resolutions utilizing collaboration tools.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and/or equivalent related experience required.
7
years of technology experience, including at least 5 years experience designing projects from beginning to end required.
Atlassian's Jira and Confluence experience required.
Extensive database development experience required (Oracle experience preferred).
Experience in an object-oriented programming language required.
Working knowledge of business intelligence (MicroStrategy preferred).
Manhattan, Aptos, or Salesforce experience is a plus.
Proven analytical skills with experience working with end-users for insight on functionality, interface, problems, and/or usability issues.
Ability to understand the functions of an application and the effect on business processes.
Detail-oriented with the time management and organizational skills needed to set and meet deadlines, utilizing design and testing best practices.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with professionals at all levels.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
